I have been asked to find a better way to access our customers BCMs. They range from BCM50 R1.0 to 3.0 and BCM 200/400/1000 R3.5 to 4.0. We currently access them through dial up. It is just taking too long to get anything done. Not all sites have the availabilty to do port forwarding on the router. Also, some sites we have maintenance contracts through our vendors so we are not supplying the equipment bur we still need access to the switch. Just wondering how most of our experts around here are doing it? All ideas are welcome and the cheaper the better [thumbsup2]

We use dialup as well but any time we have a chance to install a software on a customer pc,like the dedicate pc used for Call center Reporting, we install "LogMeIn" the free version.
You cannot transfer files or logs with the free version but at least you can manage your Bcm much quicker.
Go take a look at

U could have the site create a VPN profile for you that allows u to only access the BCM.

There are several companies that sell remote access devices and software. Most of them use port 80.
Check out WebEx and Bomgar.
Both have options that allow you to install a small piece of software on a remote PC so you can access the PC remotely and unassisted.

Thanks guys. I use LogMeIn for my work computer so I can work from home so I know the capabilities of it. I'll take a look at WebEx and Bomgar.
