This would be the first time I will have to do this.
The customer wants to be able to Dial into the BCM and administer it remotely. De-activating all DHCP services and no DNS info used.
I've been into some BCM manuals but am still in the dark.
Does anyone have any valuable documentation or helpful tips to get me through this.

Thanks so much
Mike.

200/400/1000 - if the system has a PCI modem card - plug in an analog line and dial in using windows networking

50 - on any analog line enable soft modem -

But it is going to be real slow on dialup ...

They actually just got back to me with some IP info so it looks like they want to do it over the LAN. Still...a mystery to me

Your BCM will be connected to their LAN.They should allow you VPN access remotely to their system. They will have to give you VPN procedure then you should be able to ping your BCM ip address remotely or use element manager.

thanks, The task at hand is setting it up to be accessed remotely by their IT dept
