I have a new BCM 400, from top to bottom I have DTM buss 7, DTM buss 6, GATM4 buss 5 and DSM 32 buss 2. The BCM ONLY sees the GATM4, what do I need to do for the system to see the rest? I do not have a T-1 to test with but I am attempting to test my call tree with an analog line, but until the system sees that module i am stuck.

Sorry John

stupid questions

What are your dip switches?

Have you configure the modules on the BCM?

I have a basic BCM course on setting up some this stuff if you want it it is on my site.

Marshall

The dip Switches are set for Buss 4 now, I was at 5 but changed it to make sure I was okay. I have even changed what slot it was in on the BCM itself. My system sees every other module now so I think it is the module itself that is bad.

You have a good site with alot of info on it!

Doesn't make any diff what slot there in. Under resources did yot set the Mods correctly. under Diags/trunks Mods do you see the Mods?

Not sure what you mean for me to set the mods under Diags/Trunks, that shows read only, or tests for T-1's, I cant get it to see the Analog.

my couple of cents.
The switch settings are different for + and non+
There was a batch of bad DTM mfr date Nov 2004 (dont remember exact dates)- search this or the other BCM forum for the dates
Can you post the switch settings - maybe there is a conflict

Under the Diags/Trunks I see my Digital trunks fine, it shows T1C ard for my analog trunk so it looks like it doesn't it there. When I go to Resources/Media Bay Modules, it shows trunk type programmed trunk module, actual type says none, unequipped. All switches are on except 5 so it is set for buss 4, the country switches are all off.

It is awfully difficult to get a pri up sometimes. Go to modules>module 1 and make sure you have the proper pri stuff for your region. Then try simply disabling the module, clicking out of the resources tree, and then coming back and enabling the module again. It seems absurd but this often works.
