BCM error

When under services the BCM returns the following.
"Telephony programming is not avaiable. A connection to the MSC has not been established. Plear try again later."
BCM 400
release 3.0.1 Build 7 iss 1.
Any ideas anyone anyone bueler?
 
I have seen this happen (long after installation) that the installation technician didn't use Initialization when the system was installed. What I did, was go into Telnet (or through the com port) and do an MSC Initialization.. Recommend backing up Telephony first, but I never lost programming before..

Once I did this, I never got the error again for that system... Takes about 45 minutes to run this..

Sooner or later your going to need to change something else, so you might as well get it over and just pull the plug. it takes between 10 and 20 min before everything starts working again.
