I was onsite recently and tried to renumber the doorbox to something a little easier but seemed to fight with it and gave up. Is there a sequence to doing that as even though the port was renumbered, and I deleted the doorphone on refresh the doorphone would keep coming up as the old number? Doorphone programming seems like a little bit of a fight to get established at times. Someone else had found documentation suggesting that you were supposed to put the doorphone as a KIM but I didn't do that before on an installation with 2 doorphones and openers working perfect. Anyone got this process down pat?

I would think that you could just go into feat. 9*4 and change your call dn to a new ext.!

I'm assumming your using a Nortel bst doorphone w/DOC and Nortel doorphones are not even compatible with BCM 50's Rls 1.0 it is now with 2.0.I had to find that one out the hard way with the bst doorphone not working with a BCM50a 1.0 I couldn't believe that Nortel didn't fix that problem before even releasing the 50's that just doesn't make sence to me. I had to go with a Viking.

the way i got around this is to set the direct-dial to the door phone

i.e

set direct dial to 4 and the DOC to 6 (if you have one)

all you have do then is tell the user to press 4

Simple !!
