Is there anyway to 're-download' BCM CDR records that have already been pulled?

We need to 're-download' all of our CDR records from 2009 forward (no, we do not delete after 'pull') as inadvertantly someone deleted the 'local' downloaded files (and backup is now off-site in archive vault).

Thank you in advance for assistance

I think it's possible to download the log files and this can be accessed via Winrar. I think you can extract all the CDR records.

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

Thank you for your advice, I downloaded the logs, but unfortunately, they do not contain the CDR 'data' files.
(all kinds of other neat stuff, but no CDR).

What I am looking for is on how to 'reset' the flags in the BCM to make it think that the CDR records have not yet been downloaded.

Did you have your CDR set to delete when downloaded/pulled?
If not, you could chuck the drive into a PC and image it, and they'll be on there!

Our CDR is NOT deleted after being pulled. This was by design, in the event that we would have to re-download at a later date. The later date has come, and we cannot re-download.

Our BCM is in production, continually, so to take the machine down for more than 10 minutes is not currently an option.

What would be nice is if one of the remaining(or former) Nortel tech support staff let us know how to get at the 'secret' menus and options that a customer normally would not have access to.

Simply, need access to the 'downloaded flag' to reset from 'y' to 'n'.

I may have to take down the BCM and grab a disk image, but wish to avoid doing so at present.

I'm sorry I mislead you about the log files as I thought they were there. I'm sue that they were there on the older 3.7 BCM 400 log files?.

The easiest way to retrieve the CDR records is by pulling them out of a backup. If you are already doing scheduled backups, just grab one of the files and open like a zip file. If you do not, then run a backup. If you deselect the VM and IVR options, you can do it without service interruption. Make sure you give the file a .tar extension. In the backup file you will have a file called cdr.tar.gz. Expand that file, and you will see all of your CDR record files.

Thank you very much for the advice. Went to one of our older backups and found the 'cdr.tar.gz' and extracted to folder - the CDR's are there.

Performed another backup now/current (excluding IVR, CallPilot etc - just the core. Examined the resultant backup file, and the 'cdr.tar.gz' contained the CDR's as expected right back to the install date of our BCM.

Again, thank you.
