We had a bcm at our old locations with pri lines.

We moved into a new position and assumed all we needed to do is connect all equipment and the bcm would take over.

The pri is working fine as I have checked it with asterisk and I can make and receive calls.

On bcm however when I connect the handsets there is no power on the handsets.

Is this something I can configure. I am fairly good on programming systems.

I would be very appreciative if someone could guide me through the process. I'll donate $50 to charity if I could do this myself as I'll save the installation costs !

What type of phones are you using?

What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.

T7316E connected to DSM16+.
The lights on DSM16+ are on. Don't know where to check in the element manager if the BCM can see it.

If there isn't any lights or other indication of power, I would say the cabels from the Phone room to the phones is not cabled. did you have someone cable the phone jacks?

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

I had put a wrong adapter on the phone. Secondar/master. Once I connected it with the right ones it worked fine.

How do I now program my pri lines on the phone ?
