BCM CallPilot dial "0" from within a mailbox

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem. System is a BCM400 on 4.0...caller gets forwarded to subsrciber mailbox and after hearing the mailbox greeting presses "0" to be transferred to the attendant, but instead hears "Message Delivered" then nothing. I've tried this on another 4.0 BCM400 and pressing "0" after the greeting transferred me to the designated attendant. Operator settings on both systems are setup the same. I've even tried the Personal Attendant feature on one of the mailboxes and still no dice.

Make sure that operator available is checked under operations in the call pilot.
It would usually say that the operator is unavailable.

Already checked that, but thanks just the same.

Maybe they wait too long before pressing "0"?
If they press "0" at the beginning of the greeting do they get the same "message delivered" message.
