Is it possible to integrate a "Wall Board" or "Board Reader" to the Contact Center configuration of a BCM 50? I have briefly looked at the BCM 50 documentation but have not found anything.

Yes. There are big hardware wallboards, and small software wallboards that reside on PC's.

You would of course need RCC (Reporting for contact center) installed and working, and RCC configured for either small software wallboard (ipview) or a hardware wallboard.

RCC 5.0 is also available which allows wallboards to be presented to a plasma tv for example, refer to recent forum entry about it. Albeit I don't recommend it, until Avaya have included it in a desktop update or an official patch.

paul

Hi Paul

RCC 5.0 includes an optional feature called HDView

Avaya have performed compliance testing against the BCM Rls 5.0 and will repeat those tests against the BCM Rls 6.0 this week

This version is not going to be included in Avaya's BCM patches, as it will only be available in English.

The upgrade to RCC 5.0 is offered free-of-charge to existing users (on RCC 2.5 or above) via the official upgrade portal at

Thank.s Pete, I'll bear that in mind if we have customers that want to use this functionality.

regards
paul

Paul, just to let you know..

RCC 5.0 has successfully completed Avaya Compliance testing by the Avaya DevConnect Technical Team and has been officially accepted as compliant with Avaya's BCM Release 6.0 as of 12th Nov 2010
