BCM and CS1000 in Different Area Codes

We have a BCM at a remote location (1) in a different area code connected to our CS1000 (2). The the first problem was that when someone at location 1 made a local call, it came to location 2 and out as long distance. So to fix this we ordered 7 local lines and route local calls out those. We recently changed our LD carrier and now when location 1 dials LD in the area code that location 2 is in they get a prompt saying "It is not necessary to dial a 1 when calling this number" -since the CS1000 thinks its a local call. But when they dial the number without 1+area code they get "You must first dial a 1 when calling this number" -since it is trying to go out the local lines.
I'm hoping that we can get this issue resolved and possibly eliminate the need for the 7 local lines for local calls.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Unless you have FX (foreign exchange) lines in one or the other area code, you'll always have those 7 lines. The NARS/BARS program in your PBX will have to route calls between trunk groups. Depending on which NPA and NXX is dialed, calls will be routed to the existing table. Your digit manipulation table will delete or enter the 1 for you. You might want to create a new route to get them going in the right direction. LD 90 and LD 86 for programming.
