Is it possible for the mail box portion of the CP not to work but the AA is?
Having heck of a time with all calls going to a voice mail box with no recording. When the AA picks up and I start to dial the extension I want to be transferred to, (customer uses 4 digit extensions)I get the first 2 digits of the extension in and it already starts to transfer me.
Call forward No answer in Active sets, Line access was blank, I tried changing that to the VM extension of 2599 (found by f985)thinking some how the CFNA was deleted, it didn't help.
My programming looks right.
Any ideas?

What numbers are you using for extensions? I'd be willing to bet there is a Path built in the CP which matches the first 2 digits you are dialing.

2500 through 2507. The GDMB is MB 1000 set for the main extension of 2500

You said that after the first 2 digits it starts to transfer you. Where does it transfer? Definitely check your CCR, if you have one enabled.

Your sure it goes to a mail box? I gather it beeps for you to leave a message?
Yes I agree, look at path 2 and 22 on the trees assigned to the line you call in on.
BCM monitor might help.

In Call Pilot Manager, configuration / system properties there is a check box to enable the voicemail functionality of the system. Without it, no one can leave messages. You can also check your AA table settings and make sure that DN dial is enabled.
