Hi All,

I have to do the installation for BCM-50 including wiring as well.

We have 4 in-coming lines and 4 digital extensions, a fairly simple set up.

After going through the documentation I unserdtood that I have to connect 25 Pairs for RJ21 cable to the left side of 66 block and the other end of RJ21 will go to the BCM-50.

I will have to cross connect the first 4 pairs to the 4 inciming lines and Next four pairs I can use for my digital extensions.

Please let me know if my understanding is incorrect.

My biggest problem is that I am not familiar with RJ-21 and 66 block. If someone has any simple documentaion with diagram, please post. It will be a great help to me.

I believe that the BCM 50 comes with a block that is labeled. Did yours come with this?

on the bcm 50 the violet slate is port 401 which would be ext 221 then the next up would be port 402 which would be ext 222 403 and so on up to port 412. the top of the block which is white/blue would be the incoming line 61 then white/orange line 62 up to line 64 those would be your 4 incoming lines

INCOMING LINES:
white-blue----->line 61
white-orange--->line 62
white-green---->line 63
white-brown---->line 64

DIGITAL EXTENTIONS:
violet-slate--->DN221/PORT401
violet-brown--->DN222/PORT402
violet-green--->DN223/PORT403
violet-orange-->DN224/PORT404

Good, thanks for your help. Now we have figured out the color codes.

In wiring documentation it is mentioned as:

PIN--50/25, Connection--TIP/RING, Wirecolor--violet-slate/slate-violet.

Wat is tip and ring, how am i going to distinguish between "violet-slate" and "slate-violet"

BCM50 is polarity insensitive ie it will forgive you if you get
blue white instead of white blue

I think I have enough information to start with. I appreciate yours valuable help.

Thanks again.
