A customer called and has a site where they are building a Maint. shop and can not physicly tie together. they are looking at installing a radio shot between three buildings for their lan and a VOIP set.

has anyone seen this application work.
they are getting me the type of equipment

If they are setting up their LAN and you can ping the BCM from that remote location, you should be good to go. The voip set and BCM shouldn't care what is in between them.

I have done this more than once, the only caveat is if there is heavy data use also then qos on the network and the wireless bridges is very important.

I've deployed a few IP sets over wi-fi. Only the IP client license and the set is required. Make certain after the set register that you turn off registration or at least require a password.
