I currently have a BCM50 6.0 with (8) VoIP Gateway Trunks.
I want to split the eight trunks into 4 + 4 in order to reserve "x" number for interoffice and the remaining for outbound access

Is this possible?

JIM

You should be able to do that by splitting them into different line pools and then using either access codes or destination codes to route traffic as you wish.

I attempted to change one of the (8) and they ALL changed??

Gateway trunks are only used for interoffice calling, i.e. system to system dialing. Unless your using them to access another system via a remote package and trying to tandem. Is that what your attempting to do?

No you cannot split them in 2 groups. They will all belong to the same bloc(A,B,C etc..).

I am attempting to do as you say. While I will use the VoIP gateways as interoffice calling, I also want to access the remote's PRI to avoid LD charges.

Can Call by Call Limits come into the equation? The min/max settings - can these be used?
