bcm 50 static on analog station ports

have a bcm 50 just went to install a couple of polycom units. when i just plug in an analog trunk line the polycoms sound fine when i plug in an analog station i get static. Does anyone know of a patch out there for this. thanks in advance.

Before you try anything else, make sure you have the right polycom. there are analog polycoms and digital polycoms. try plugging in the right type of phone at the jack, see if the problem is with the polycom or not.

I sm sure they are analog polycoms. I can take an analog loop start trunk out of the switch and wire it out to the polycom and it sounds fine.
