We have a BCM 50 Rls 5.0 and we have set up VOIP phones off prem. When we call the ip phones via the ext number we cannot hear the users but when we call the DID of the Voip phone it comes in clear we can hear them and they can hear us. What settings need to be changed?

We can connect to the BCM and the IP phone registers, we can call to any ext but they cannot hear and we cannot hear them. When we call the IP Phone via the DID it rings and we can talk.

OK, the phones register thru the S1 IP address and port 7000, that doesnt mean the gateway is correct. Try to ping the default gateway thru the phone.

IP packets for signaling go between the IP Phone and the BCM. IP packets for media (voice) go between the IP Phone and the other IP Phone. You need to have a data route between the IP Phone and all other IP Phones to have two-way voice.
