BCM 50 Release 3.0

Have a customer that has a BCM 50 Release 3.0, with an auto attendant greeting that answers all the time, the have a T-1 direct connected into the BCM and they are complaining about getting phantom phone calls at the receptionists phone. Did notice that it comes in on different channels. Has anybody have this issue before and what was your solution to correct it. We had this happen on regular analog lines before, but this is the first on a straight T-1 going into a Nortel product.
 
The receptionist's phone is likely the Prime Set for the T1 lines. If the BCM receives digits from the Telco that there are no matching Target Lines for the call will default to the Prime Set. Check with the Telco to see what DIDs and other retained DNs they have provisioned for that particular T1.

So maybe the issue is some fax keeps dialing your main line then simply primes to reception?.

next time she gets that call have her immediatly transfer it to a fax machine. then at least you will know for sure who is calling if its a fax
