Has anyone installed Unified Messaging on a Vista PC(Outlook), using a BCM 50 release 3? Callpilot Messaging shows up in Outlook. The messages show up, but can not listen to messages. I get an error message: (!Internal Error 2753, Vstdaemon.exe. Other PCs that do not have Vista are working fine. Any ideas? It almost seems like the Callpilot player is being blocked. There is a new download for unified messaging for users, from the BCM. Thank you for any help provided.

I have had similar difficulties and wonder if it is a Outlook patch that has recently come out that is blocking the callpilot player. I had installed unified messaging with no problems on a Vista machine back in july or aug 07, and it still seems to be working fine. but i can't install on my new machine. could it have something to do with it being previously set up for that mailbox on another computer?

Let us know if anyone has gotten around this error

Thanks

I had 2 PCs that did not have it previously installed on before. But, I do think it its being blocked somehow. I was thinking about installing an older callpilot player on one of the PCs, just to see what happens.

I had the same problem with the installation of the BCM 50 v3 in December. Has anhyone seen a fix?

The difference that I have discovered between my two vista machines is that the machine that I installed unified messaging on before installing Outlook 2007 service pack 1 installed fine and works and still works even after upgrading to the service pack 1, the machine that was already at service pack 1 before I tried to install unified messaging will install but not actually do anything. I have looked into uninstalling service pack 1 and it isn't pretty, you have to remove the whole program, possibly the whole suite of microsoft products (word, excel, ect) and then reinstall from cd. I wish i had time to try it, if you do, let me know if that works and if you have to uninstall everything or just Outlook 2007.

Thanks,
R
