Hi

In a network of BCM 50's (all on Rel 6 and patched) where H323 is used to network the systems together is there a way to suppress the H displayed on a destination sets display when a call is received?

UDP is being used as the network type.

I know on the larger CS1000's there was a plugin that could be loaded to supress it. Does anyone know of a way on a BCM?

If I remember correctly the H was there to show it as a Private Network Call. Not sure you'll see an H unless using CDP or UDP.

Yes you are right H shows that the call is a private network call. I read on the Meridian/CS1000 systems it's related to the term HLOC (home Location).

I don't believe you could get it to appear on a single BCM as you'd need to get a call into it marked as a private network call, so would need another system to send that call in

I tried switching to SIP trunks between the two BCM 50's and the H is gone....
