Hello Everyone , i think my BCM Hard drive is defect ( The system reboot by himself ) i apply all update,,patch and change power supplies .

I try clone my old Maxtor 40 gig on Western digital 80 gig. I try with acronis and cloning station.

the system is not able to start,,,

Do you have any idea for me ??

If you attache a serial cable during boot up what do you see?

Are there any red alarm lights or no lights at all?

Sometimes the Power supply can be the culprit on boot up.

I dont have this kind of cable.

I have 2 red light for 5 sec and after the second red light start blinking .

Is weird

Do you think i need to reprogram the new hard drive with the bcm image file from avaya ??

Is is possible that the bcm50 r1 is not compatible with the 160 gig hard drive ??
