bcm 50 call forwarding by time 1

Hi all, can anyone help with how to forward calls automatically at preset times? We have six channels with two numbers. Channels 1 to 4 have the same phone number and we want to forward these lines to an outside number between 6pm and 9am. At other times, all unanswered calls go to answer phone. We dont want to redirect lines 5 and six at any time.

We are using a BCM50 in the UK where it has just been adopted by British Telecom... so engineers knowledge is a little limited and manual hard to follow due to american terminoligy.

Any help will much appreciated.

Hi Keith

You can do this a couple of ways.But each can be setup a little different and each have a few perks or problems.

Step 1

The first way would be to use a spare extension and call forward to the external number.

Step 2

Set up a night group with the extension that has the call forward to the outside number.

Step 3

Use the auto setting to switch the system in to night mode between 6pm and 9pm

The other is to use the call pilot and is a bit more complicated.The setup above will be the easy of the two

I would agree the documentation is not very thorough in regards to initializing the system steps.

I'm american and I'm going crazy reading those docs! :)
