BCM 50 Backup

Recently did a Backup of a site. But my problem is I don't know where it saves the file on my computer by default.
It never asked me where I wanted to save it.
It just said backup complete.
Does anyone know what the file is saved as and which folder?

It doesn't save it to your computer unless you tell it to and where it's saved is your choice. By default it save the backup to the E drive on the BCM.

Can I retreive the backup from the BCM E drive?
Or I should just do another backup and save it to my PC.

If you do another backup to your PC, it will save it to the directory where Element Manager has been loaded.

I did the backup on site and it never asked me where it said completed after it was done.
What would it be saved as?

Hi,

For the BCM 50, if you don't specify the download location (Backup to BCM), it will store the backup locally on the BCM's file system.

I don't believe that you can get access the file in this case.

If you would like to keep the file on your computer, you need to specify one of the options like "my computer".

At the backup utility click Volume and put in location to send backup to.
