BCM 50 Analog port

I have a BCM50 with two analog devices hanging off it. One has stopped working completely and the second works intermittently. I have checked under Audio Gateways and noticed that the Analog trunk status is set to Enabling. I can disable the module and when I re enable it the status returns to enabling. I have reset the system and done a complete shutdown. Any ideas?

They are just ports in the system. Could be it needs a patch.

Are you talking about analog trunks or analog devices (phones, faxs, etc)? You say devices but then talk about trunks - those are different things. If you're working on station ports, have you checked with a phone or butt set directly at the port for dial tone? the most likely problem, unless the hardware is bad, is the rj45 connector. Make sure it is secure all the way across.

Hardware is fine. It's as if the analog module is stuck. I've had exactly the same issue with a BCM 400 and a complete shut down solves it.

Those are your internal analog trunk lines. They are not a seperate module as you described. Check to make sure your amphenol 25 pair connector is securely in place on the front of the BCM, also if you have a butt set or analog phone you can test the CO lines just to make sure it isn't the provider.
