WE HAVE EXT 233 SET UP AS A CONFRENCE UNIT KONFTEL 300.WE CAN PRESS THE ON/LINK BUTTON GET INTERCOM DIAL 9 AND GO OUT TO MAKE A CALL. WE CAN INTERCOM NO ISSUE. WE HAVE A CALLER TRANSFERED IN TO THE MEETING ROOM ANSWER HIM AND PRESS LINK 2 TO MAKE A SECOND CALL. WORKS GOOD DIAL TONE APPEARS DIAL 9 GET SECOND CALL ESTABLISHED. THE ISSUE SEEMS LIKE WE CAN,T DO A LINK *3 TO GET THEM ALL TOGETHER IT SEEMS THE FIRST CALLER GETS LOST OR IS GONE WILE WE ARE SETTING UP THE SECOND CALL. LINK TIMER WAS 500 AND 600 SAME ISSUE.

I think you're doing it right, but "feature"=flash *.

Make sure they aren't pressing flash *, *3.

How do you get feature on the confrence set it has a green on button also called link. How do you get feature on a konftel unit ???

feature 3" is conference on a digital set. For an analog port on the system, feature is "link/flash, *".

Are you sure you're doing it in the right order?

I know there are some analog user guides out there somewhere.

The green button is the on/link button. We hit the green button get dialtone. We make the call press green button and 2 and get second dialtone dial 9 and get to second caller we then go to press green button again and *3 and caller 2 is with us but caller 1 is gone. I think caller 1 gets cut off when we start to call second caller. So I think the flash is working okay because we can get the line out and we get the dialtone for the second call. I looked at the guide 10 times to see what step I am missing and do not see it...

Again, try searching for an ata user guide.

Typical use from a digital set: Make/take call, f*3 (puts 1st call on hold; int dt- make second call, press conf/ f*3, then press held line (flash * 2).

I hope this helps.

If not, download ata guide, and apply our instructions.

One thing I have found is if you press the buttons on the phone too quickly, the action fails.

When you press the flash button, give yourself a 3 count. This gives the phone a chance to actually generate the hookflash. If you press "flash" + "*" too quickly, the system may not see the "*" because it was pressed while the phone was generating the hookflash.

BTW, you have the procedure correct.

Good luck.
