BCM 50 & voice mail

Just started to work on my first BCM 50. I am use to the MICS and CICS. Pretty simple and very compact. I did notice that the VM seems to be integrated. I thought I would need to add a CP. I am trying to reset the VM Admin PW with the usual F985 procedure but it will not take. Any suggestions?
BTW can all programming functions be done at the set like I am use to or must i hook up a Laptop.

Yes u can do it from a set. What r u entering after F985?

Try F982 instead of F983 on the BCM to reset the voicemail.

will do. Thought that all major programming had to be performed via a computer or laptop on the BCM's

Only on the 50's and 450's you can use telset programming just like the Norstar. Just can do VOIP programming unless you have PC and EM.
