I am looking for replace my old bcm50 by something more recent.
I don't want spend 2000$ us for that.

I have 2 Analogue Trunk line Telco
6 station

and auto-attendant

What would be your advice.

Thanks for your help

Is your BCM actually dead (no lights or fans on power up) or it will it just not boot up? If it won't boot, then it's your hard drive which makes it perfect for an emetro replacement. The hard drive is removed anyway and replaced with an SSD to turn it into a digital gateway.

As for pricing, you should go to the emetrotel website and use their find a reseller link, or just give them a call. They'll help you along. Around where we are, we use a budgetary number of $200.00/per set as a guideline. Could be more or less depending on if you want other available options or set replacements etc. I find the ROI on these things to be anywhere from 6-18 months and if you move to SIP trunks, it's even less.

Go for a Panasonic or similar, low price, reliable, durable and they all can provide auto-attendants nowadays.

not to be the one to say it =) but i dont understand how you bad mouth hosted contracts in one breath and then pitch sip trunk contracts in the next? Arent they the same thing?

if you don't have someone that is experienced with the SL1100 programming then you don't want to touch that without help. It is a nasty piece of work to program. If you go SIP trunk then hopefully you have a really good installer on hand.
But once they are running they run with almost no issues and they are cheap.
