Anyone got any new rumors/information on the BCM 450.

I understand they are re-introducing the 3.7 style wizards, an upgrade involves a new BFT and that they are duplicating what they have put into the BCM50 3.0.

I am really interested in what they are doing to the Contact Centre. Any one know if there is more than 50 skill sets? More than 4 CCR trees? Anything?

it will be a 350 port system reusing all the same old hardwere as the bcm400 it has more buses and a new internal architecture to allow more ip phones. most of the aplications will be the same

This was part of a conference by Nortel and not under non-disclosure. It doesn't say much however.
But David Downing, general manager for enterprise and SMB communications solutions, did say that its BCM 450, which lets small and mid-sized businesses add IP telephony to their systems, will be released in October. The BCM 450 will scale up to 300 users, which is more than twice as many as the BCM 400.
The company also said that it will decide "in the next couple of months" if it will add SIP lines to the BCM family, which would make it a survivable gateway for branch offices if the corporate WAN fails.
