Have a 450, Rls 6. Installed the keycode for RAID. Loaded the R6 Factory Image patch. Installed the drive, enabled RAID. Rebooted, but still will not recognize the 2nd drive. I have Green, Red, Red LEDs. Tried another brand new drive, no change. The docs just say plug it in, enable and when it reboots, it will start mirroring. Am I missing something?

is the main drive in the left slot and raid drive in the right slot

For RAID enabled systems, i.e. supporting a secondary hard drive, you can check which hard drive has failed. In the Element Manager Administration tab, open the System Metrics folder and click on Disk Mirroring. If either drive is listed as Failed or not listed at all (e.g. the system may have been rebooted after an earlier failure) that drive will need replacing

main drive left. I have tried multiple drives. I found a patch that seems to describe this condition.

Latest SU patch will fix this. There was a problem with the original image load. Only other way I've found to make it work is to image the mirror drive the same as the main drive--apparently once the drive has the correct partitions, RAID will work.

Loaded the Factory Image Patch, same. I'm scheduled to load the BCM450R600.SU.System-009 patch tomorrow.

The SU solved this issue. Rebooted and are green green green
