When setting up the MBM's on a BCM 450, what is the best way to set the lines up as far as numbering goes? For example, when I go to set up the PRI it asks me if I want to start at line 9 when I know 1 through 8 are voip lines and I can keycode enable more. Do I start the lines at 61 like the bcm 400 or does it not matter anymore?

Thanks in advance for your help.
Dan

I dont believe it matters anymore. When I set my first one up, I used 61 onwards like I used to on the BCM400 systems.
That seemed to work ok

NCSS, NCDS, NCTS

I agree it does not matter.
My set up is as follows:

lines 1-30 reserved for voip.
lines 31-60 for 1st Pri mbm
lines 61-90 for 2nd Pri mbm
lines 91-120 for 3rd Pri mbm.

its only an example

My dn's start at 121 so I had to disable IP sets in Telephony resources because the IP dn's conflicted with one of my DSM 32 MBM'S and that was ok but now the application dn's conflict with another MBM. Can I disable the application dn's so I can get my modules in order or will that screw things up?

You will get a warning that you need at least 3 Active dns for applications, voicmail, modem etc.

You can change the application dn range but if you have already configured the voicemail i cant be sure what will happen.
