I seem to recall that you need to look via the BCM Element Manager Application or Telephony Resources etc to the area that shows you the BCM Bus sections as there should be some dip switch settings that you will need to make a note of in order to apply in to your BCM DTM module.
You may also need to disable the module and then enable it again. I'm not sure if I have attached the correct help file.

A good old fashioned reboot has never hurt when I've had weird things happen trying to enable modules.
Also.. The cable is supposed to be 16.4 feet.

You did not say if you did but in resources under expansion X did you select the drop down under configured device and select the appropriate MBM?
Did you also connect a phone to any one of the ports?
