I hope I don't get hammered here, but I have a question regarding my new BCM 450 that I just received.

When looking at the main BCM 450 unit, how are the slots on the right side of the chassis numbered? Is it 1 - 4 top to bottom, or 1 - 4 bottom to top?

Thanks in advance

Cool thanks for the info. So for the BCM expansion cabinet, does the same apply? 1 - 6 from bottom right to top left?

Hi, you have to dip switch settings, see the manual

Cursed and Blessed is the day that we decided telcom would be our profession.

The entire expansion cabinet is Module 6. All you do is pick one of the "sub-buses" like 6.1 and select whatever type of module you want to assign and the system automatically tells you what to set the dip switches to. You can then put it any slot you want. Really nice compared to the 400.
