I was wondering if anyone can confirm the size of the Blank (RAID) hard drive and the multiimage hard drive...I hear it's 80gb for the blank and 160gb for the multi image hard drive...is this correct?

Not sure on the multi image as I haven't been able to get my hands on one yet. Have one on order since Feb and I being told it wont be in until May :-(

Anyways 80GB is standard raid disk. Although I'm sure anything bigger would be fine too.

Thank you ECartman I have a customer that recently ordered the Hardware and software upgrade kit with RAID and he is unable to get the RAID drive to come online...keep getting the drive need s 80gb or better error.

I have a 450 / 50 multi image here in my hands, it says 160 gb on it...

Been trying to get my hands on one of those for 2 months from disti. Seems they are like gold dust at the moment :)

I ordered mine from my local vendor in Michigan, and it took about a week to get. I now orderd a couple of blank 160 gb drives and am going to make a couple more spare drives.

I havent looked yet, I think my new blank drives came in, maybe I will look at it today, I will post what I find.

@BombOne please plug it in and let me know what you get because I think he's doing something or the BCM450 base function tray is defective...not sure which one it is yet.

I cant really get a good size on it, the cloning tool I am using just takes the whole thing, compresses it, then i will use the tool extract it on to the new drive. I do see that the multi image drive has 12 partitions on it.

just regular, not relevant to your post realy, sorry about that. I just saw that people were looking for the hard drive, so I let you guys know that I had one.

@BombOne That's cool and you did confirm the size of the multi-image hard drive...so you helped out...thanks.

Jarrod;

BCM450 rls6 RAID will only work if you load the image on the mirror hard drive before you install it. Installing a blank drive will not work.

Avaya recommends Acronis Tru Image Home 2011 software. Image download from Avaya is five 681MB files and one 178MB file.

I used a 160GB SATA hard drive, used Acronis to load the image on the drive, and now have functional RAID.

Anyone got an image (.tib) file for a multi image HDD they can provide? I have the tib files for each version, and would love to get my hands on a multi image tib file.
