BCM 400 2

I have a BCM 400 4.0 with 3-32+ DMS & 1-PRI 1-8AMS. I am trying to added a DMS 32+ to the system and only 8 ports are working on both amps.

Do you have an expansion cabinet?
I don't think you have enough bus ports for all those modules, I would have to reference the install guide to make sure.

I didn't think adding a dsm32+ to an expansion cabinet was a supported bcm400 config.

this is the bus that cards are on main cab. bus,2-32+ bus,3-32+ bus,6-PRI bus,7-ASM8 / Exp cab. bus,5-32+ and I trying to added bus,5-32+ put only ports 8 on top & botton are working in the exp cab.

I did not do that right it is main cab. bus,2-32- bus,3-32+ bus,6-PRI bus,7-ASM 8 / Exp. cab. bus,4-32+ and I am adding bus 5,32+ and only ports 1-8 & 17-24 are working

You can definitely install a 32+ into a expansion cabinet, I've done it many times. The only MBM's not supported in the expansion are DTI and DDIM. I would verify that the dip switch settings are correct first and then make sure in EM the proper module type is assigned to the bus port. If those are set and you are still having troubles try to swap out that module with a known working one. Good Luck..
