Hello All,

I am very new to Telecommunication equipments and this BCM 400 ver 3.7 System.
Currently we have a 8 VoIP Client license and using 4 VoIP Phones and there are around 40 of regular t7316e phones. Our provider is ATT and BCM was setup around 2005.
I thought we need to replace it with a newer system.
Before doing that I would like to setup 2 or 3 Wirless IP Clients and I don't know where to start at.
Some suggest to use T7406e. Does T7406e comes with Base or is it true Wifi device?
Some says we need a kind of gateway or some sort of device or license in order to use wirless with BCM. I still am confuse while searching for solution on the Internet.
I need a guidance to look at the right direction.
Thanks
Zaw

Hello again,
I am searching on net for T7406e installation guide. Only I found is setting up the handset. I don't find any documents related to installation of base station. Do you have any idea how to setup?

I found that base station is directly connect to the phone line. So it means that T7406e is not actually VoIP type of phone. It is like cordless DECT phone but connect to BCM400. Am I right?

For BCM you can do one of the 5 following:

Digitial Sets (uses digital ports)
-T7406
-T7406e

Companion KSU (uses analog ports)

Any Analog wireless phone (uses analog port)

WLAN handsets (uses IP keys)

The latest:
Digital Mobility System (DECT) (uses digital ports)
