BCM 400 Rel 4.0 Hard Drive Replacement

Will I lose Telephony program on the MSC if I replacing a hard drive on a BCM that was patch up to date with a FRU that has no patches.

I think that you will only lose your IP information. I'm guessing that you don't have a backup copy?.

You are correct there is no backup. In the past I have replace Hard drive on the BCM and have noticed if the core version on the hard drive is lower than the version on the MSC card I will loose Telephony. I have not tried applying the latest patches to a the New Hard Drive and then replace it in the down BCM.
