I have a clients BCM 400 for the last several nights at 12 am powering down and rebooting and not coming back up properly. What would cause it to power itself down the same time every night. This issue also caused a hard drive failure which there is a new 4.0 drive in with no mirror.

Well an update..Cooling fan went out so the unit was overheating...made sure unit had current updates...system did not go down last night so hope it stays that way.

Ok well this lasted a week. Unit has a new fan new hardrive is all updated to current patch and everything is programed running 4.0. System went down over the weekend then went down at 11am on monday. Then went back down over night Tuesday. What can be causing the system to go down then not boot up by itself properly?

Could you possibly have a power issue? I understand that the BCM should come up by itself without any issues after a quick power outage. I would check the power to rule that out as a possibility.

Well it is your typical scenario. BCM is in a 6x6 room then on top of that in a closed rack. No building A/C but a portable unit that blows hot air and cool air in the same room. You start sweating as soon as you walk in. Customer assumes since his switches and servers are not going down it is not due to the heat in the room. We did an upgrade to this unit over year ago to 4.0 and have had no problems. Phones work fine up till the last person leaves which is 10 at night. That's over 16 hours of known time that the unit is working properly. So if it is the power supply, please explain to me why it would run for that long then fail? And for over a week and a half be fine. Am I missing some other variable here with this system that could cause these symptoms?

I am not referring to the power supply. Is something happening at these times that could be causing the power to fail?

Well here first thing in morning the unit is running but the coretelprovideragent and templateprovider agaent stopped running....why would that happen?

Reboot the system and it is giving me an autocoreupload failure.....searched forums no real answer how to fix this. Know if I take power it off then pull board out put it back in system will load properly.
