How can I get into the call pilot to change unknown password?

Or reinstall callpilot and start fresh?

You need to use CallPilot Manager, or use a handset and log into Voicemail Administration using F983.
Either way will require you to know the system coordinator mbox password.

I don't think you can login to BCM on F983 from a handset

In the old Nortel. You could change Admin with F985 and 9, then 73738767793
I will try it on a telephone but don't expect much

Manual sys it should work

To reset the System Administrator password for CallPilot 100/150
Note: If you reset the System Administrator password, log on to CallPilot Manager and
create a new password immediately to prevent unauthorized access to the system.
While the default password is used, CallPilot Manager or Contact Center is open to
unauthorized access. For additional security, change the Administration Password
regularly.
1 Press ≤·°fi.
The voice mail DN appears on your display.
If you have Contact Center or Interactive Voice Response enabled
on your system, NEXT appears instead of the OK softkey.
2 Press ·.
3 Enter Resetsmpswd or
‡‹‡‹°‡fl‡‡·‹
and press OK or £.
4 Press YES.
5 Follow the instructions in “Starting CallPilot Manager” on page 22
to log on to CallPilot Manager.
6 Use the default password 0000 to log on.
Create a new System Administrator password.

BCM 4.0, all BCM50's, and all BCM450's will allow access from a handset/telset.
Anything below will not.

Didn't notice this was a BCM question.
Since it was posted in the Norstar forum I thought you were asking about CP150.

Works with 3.6....who would have thought?

F985, 9 then password 73738767793 hit #, then when it says hit password...hit pound again...then go to Callpilot and use four zeros

Where you trying to just change the pswd or reinstall as well? As you found out you cannot use f983 on the older BCM's. You have to perform the reinstall via f982.
