BCM 400 Auto-Attendant

Hello,

I'm having a BCM 400 auto-attendant problem. My lines are set to goto auto-attendant after 2 rings, auto answer is enabled and almost every think i could find on internet, but when i place a call it's going to the attendant or operator first i have the attendant and operator at the same DN.

When the general delivery is enabled after 2 rings I'm going to voicemail and when i disable the general delivery mailbox after ringing 2 times on the attendant phone I'm getting "user is not available" and then the auto-attendant is starting.

Can anyone tell me when I'm missing? I want to go to auto-attendant directly not to have any ring on the attendant phone and then if the caller can go to the attendant or something else from the CCR menu.

Based on your last statement, it sounds like all calls should be answered by the AA. If that is the case u need to assign the lines to a ring grp and assign only the voicemail DN to the ring grp. You then need to set the service schedule to manual or auto. If using auto you'll need to setup the schedule. All this is done on the BCM side.

Actually it sounds like you have your FNA is set to 2 rings on the attendant DN. Make sure it is 1 more ring than the auto attendant

Thanks the problem was that the lines ware set to Auto and the operator was answering the call automatically. When i set it to Manual the Auto-Attendant was answering the calls.

you never want to set-up your copper trunks as auto you always want manual or you will have problems...like you just had for ex.
