BCM 400 4.0 modem not connecting

BCM 400 4.0 had a bad hard drive and had to replace it. The new hard drive is the same version(4.0) and now the modem will answer but cannot get past verifying username and password, have even built a new account and added remote access and still it will not work. Any suggestions?

Have had that on a few switches, after BCM rebooted, access gained. Have you tried a reboot?

Yes, We have rebooted several times, I also go into the history under accounts and privileges and I can see where it gets a failed login, so the modem is working as far as I can tell, but for some reason it won't let it log in. We have also tried from multiple computers with the same result

Are you connected to the soft modem on the front, or trying to use the Isdn remote access?
