BCM 400 release 3.6 build 2.2c

I am attempting to provide WAN access to BCM services for my staff (soft phone, integrated messaging, etc). Unfortunately, it appears that the BCM is blocking and/or not responding to any IP communication that doesn't originate on it's subnet.

I can't even access the default BCM homepage when trying to navigate to the system from an internal system on another subnet. Routing and firewall policies are in place to allow this and I am able to do similar things against other systems.

Is there a configuration setting or other steps that are required to allow/open up access?

Thanks,

Is the default gateway set on the BCM? Check under Services, Net Link Manager, Next Hop on Primary Link. Set that address to the IP of your internal router.

Thank you for pointing me to this not-so-obvious setting!

Applying the approprirate gateway setting did in deed allow access.
