BCM 4 Powering down properly

Hi could anyone tell me the correct methord for powering down a BCM 400/4.0 we are having our power cut off tommorrow and i don't know how to correctly turn it off before we attach generators. Any help would be much appriciated.

In Element Manager
1 Click the Administration tab.
2 Open the Utilities folder, and then click Reset.
The Reset panel opens.
3 Click the Shutdown BCM System button.
A confirmation dialog box opens.
1 Click the OK button.
The operating system of the BCM shuts down.
Power off the BCM after 5 minutes
