Its all just plug and play till it isn't. Some times when you
slap a 4.0 hard drive into a 3.7 system it wipes out all your telephony programming. Not all the time mind you but just often enough to make you want to have pretty good notes on how your telephones and lines are set up. Generally what you will find after installing the 4.0 drive is that the auto core upload will fail, this can often times be fixed by running a service update.
Keep in mind that you'll have to reprogram the voicemail from scratch and might loose telephony programming like rlsabin metionned as well.
Not bad on small config but i'd rather swap with 3.7 HD and do the upgrade to 4.0 right after.
Also make sure that the BIOS is the latest version (02.03.50), when you upgrade from 3.7 to 4.0 this is one of the things that is upgraded during the process. If the BIOS is not the latest then the new HD will not initialize especially in the 200.
