BCM 200 shutting down some services frequently

Hi all,

I am getting the following alarms and some of the services are stopping frequently,

52006 Critical
**ERROR** Received EMS_EVENT_CONNECTION_LOST from MSM;MPS service aborted
Contact your local support group.

53004 Critical
Mgs:: Shutting down due to MSM communication failure
Contact your local support group.

50064 Critical
The Media Path Management sub-system unexpectedly became offline - terminating
Contact your local support group.

56006 minor
IpTelProvider shutting down due to fatal error.
Check service manager and if service isn't restarted try manually. If unsuccessful, contact your local support group.

At the same time the extensions and trunks are going to unavailable state.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

Funny i have just started getting the same on a V4.0 400 seem to be something todo with the MSC card i have just taken mine apart and clean all the connectors with contact cleaner and give it a good dust blast, let me know how you get on..

out on interest do you have any on box backup scheduled ? mine seems to always goes down on a Sunday after a backup

TLDuk, how'd you make out? I'm having the same issues with my BCM450 in my Asia office.

In my case is was a BCM 400 and the MSC was faulty, due to Avaya not supplying new MSC cards anymore and their refusal to clear licenses from existing systems, we where unable to migrate to another BCM 400, the customer opted to replace the system with a Mitel 3300 they have had there fingers burnt before by Avaya and opted to do with another manufacturer.
