Hello,

Just had a new 3.6 HD installed on BCM200. Restored Call Pilot Vm and all is well except when Access VM (FTR 981) button is pressed EXIT comes up and user is not connected to voicemail?? what is the reason. Before BCM went down everything was fine.

Yeas all other features are working, user presses the Access VM button(FTR 981)display shows EXIT then then disconnects

Do a button inquiry to see if the button is programmed for that function and try to acces by manually dialing are you having problems with just one extension?

Have done that, all the phone sets that have FTR 981 cannot use the feature, i have gone into teh Call Pilot and if I want toadd a new mb I can only add an information mb even though it says 33 available subsriber mailboxes

The two items selected for the restore were the voice applications and licensing. We hvae 53 BCM's, and when a hard drive is replaced, I just complete a restore and everything comes back, except this time, the telephony information remained in tact, the Auto Attendant works, callers can leave voicemails, but when you press ** to go to the voicemail, the system exits, when your in the building and press the access vm button or FTR 981, the system exits? Cannot access the voicemails? There are 16 Call Pilot UM Seats and 64 Call Pilot Mailbox Increment.

Thansk for your help!!!

Is that what is should have or does have?
Did you log in to verify on the BCM that the key codes are there and listed as you state above??
If not listed contact your vendor to re-generate them.

I dont recall if works on BCM50:
See if Feature 9*1 works to tell you what the vmail codes are.
If listed ok then remove them:
-Stop the call pilot service
-F**XFEST and remove each code
-Restart the call pilot service

As for ** not working verify that setting Return to AA = Yes
Under AA/Greetings

BTW here is the BCM forum:

Thanks to everyone for their comments and suggestions. In the initial relacement of harddrive a patch was not installed correctly, reinstalled patch and voicemail is back.
