Help....Ive just started working on the bcm 200 and Im lost.Ive worked with other pbx's but this is a different animal.I have the manuel but it doesnt make much sence.I have a 4x16 media moduel and I cannot get the co lines (which are loop start) to work..Thanks for any help

Depending on what slot your 4x16 is in, will determine the line numbering.

Make sure your dipswitches are set correctly.

can you see the module in your browser?
do the sets work? if so, what are the ext numbers?
what are your dipswitch settings?
what other MBM do you have?

your dip switches determine the line settings -
there is an appendix in the install guide which details all the switch settings

Also, make sure that you have defined the bus that the 4x16 trunks are on as loop start. If you leave the switch settings default, you'll have trunks on bus 2 and stations on bus 3. Open Resources, Media Bay Modules, click on Bus 2, open that up, and set it as a loop start trunk module. Bus 2 defaults to a trunk module configured as a PRI. You'll need to disable/enable that bus after the changes are made before the lines will show active. Should be lines 211-214 if you are on bus 2/3.

Thanks for all the responces.I came in "Fresh" today and followed the advice everyone sent and amazingly it all went to work.I pulled the 4x16 out and reset the dip switches and it worked. Thanks again and Im sure Ill have more questions later!!! MikeH
