I am working with a BCM 200 trying to get it to properly interface with a SIP Trunking Provider (i.e. Broadvox.com). Is the BCM 200 capable of this or am I trying to make it do something that it won't? I have Rls 4 software with February 2010 patch applied.
I have gotten it to make and receive calls with the exception of DTMF tones on outbound calls. The SIP Trunking carrier is telling me that the BCM is not sending a value for how long to play DTMF, thus it is in effect 'null'.
Is there a patch or work-around that will get the BCM 200 to speak RFC 2833? Or is there an update that will do for the BCM 200 what Rls 3 or 5 did for BCM 50s?
Any insight or advice is appreciated. Thanks
