BCM 1000 2 phones on same extension

I have a lab tech that has 2 offices. Is it possible to have 2 phones use the same extension. And if so, what would the steps be.

You can either use the "Answer DN" function or assign the same target line to both sets if the Tech is only interested in receiving DID calls.

He just needs the abilty to do normal phone functions, check msg, answer calls made to his extension etc.

In other words, when someone calls in to his normal extension using the ccr no dids, I would like it to ring at both locations, also be able to check vm at both locations with both phones showing new vm's on the display screen

if he has ext like 231 and 232 you can pick one lets say 232 and make it his main ext ,then go to ext 231 and give it an answer dn of ext 232 so now both sets will ring when 232 is called

as for vmail go into mailbox 232 and give an alternate ext of 231 now the same mailbox will be for both ext's

So far no luck using the answer dn. I've added it correctly and it looks good, but cannot get both phones to ring. Do I need to do anything else in order for it to take

nevermind it works, i did not give it long enought
