The intention of *9# I would guess is not relevant if using mobile phones. It would be if wanting to switch between various fixed phones.
Before SP9 and REEXI command (MOB and FIX parameter) ,
how did you then realize the *9# ? Was it then only sufficient to add multiple numbers in NUTRI ?
