I have been able to get our Blackberries to sync wirelessly with our email and calendars, but I cannot get it to work on the address book.

Has anyone been able to get it working? I know that many of our BlackBerries give us the option, but I don't have the option in the BlackBerry Desktop Manager. For the calendar, from BlackBerry Desktop Manager, to Intellisync, then click on Configure PIM. The dialog box lets me choose what to sync the Address Book, Calendar, MemoPad, and Task, each with. I don't have the option "BlackBerry Wireless Sync" for the Address Book, MemoPad, or Tasks, so I select MS Outlook. The BlackBerry Wireless Sync, works great for the calendar.

I have the most up-to-date Blackberry Desktop Manager Software, and my hardware drivers are up-to-date.

Any direction or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you,

Hi saravn,

Have you gone into the Address Book on the BB and then Options to make sure that Wireless Synchronization is set to 'Yes'?

Jestar15,

Yes, actually that's the place where I can turn it on. And when it's turn on there, I get an error from Intellisync that it can't sync the address book via MS Outlook because it's set up for wireless sync. I still don't get an option for wireless sync'ing.

Good point though... an easy thing to miss.

Thanks,
Sara

Hi Sara,

Actually, I don't think any of those sections have ever listed "Blackberry Wireless Sync", only the Calendar. What you need to do, is uncheck the option to sync via desktop manager completely (for Address Book), which allows the wireless function to work.
