How do I create a voice VLAN & Data VLAN for a Baystack 460 POE switch? The PC's will connect to the IP phones. The BCM will not be doing the routing. An external Cisco 1720-21 will be the WAN router on a P-T-P DS-1.

I assume you are using i2004 phones then. You can set these to tag packets with a particular VLAN ID. The switch port must be set to tagged but not to discard untagged frames. Set your PVID to the VLAN that you want the PC on.

This method would work if you are using static IP on the phones. For DHCP there is a way but it's complicated and I've never done it so I wont even attempt to advise you on it.

Hope this helps.
